"I opted for Beltway Movers, even though it was considerably more than other options, because of their good reviews. We needed to move out a 2-bed apartment, I needed a complete pack and disassemble/re-assemble of furniture, and we had an additional drop off to put several items in storage. The review that follows is less a reflection of the quality of the movers and more a reflection of the decisions of Beltway management. For starters, movers arrived about 2.5 hours late. Turns out my address had been transcribed wrong. I confirmed that I input the correct address the Unpakt, but when the movers arrived, they showed me paperwork that had my location swapped with another. Even when I called the company after the movers didn't show and asked what was going on, reiterated time constraints, and reiterated it was a complete pack and move to new place with a drop off at storage, they were not inclined to send more than the 3 movers they already sent. 3 people. To pack up a home, move it to a new place, re-assemble furniture, and then make the last drop off at a storage unit. 3 people. The movers finally arrived at 10:30a after figuring out the address snafu, and were not finished until about 3:30 the next morning. They were exhausted, I was exhausted--and we didn't even have time to make the last drop off to storage. In fact, as I write this review a day later, those items are still sitting on their truck. I do not fault the movers. They were respectful, had a good attitude, and didn't let up, even at 3 in the morning. I'm not sure I would have had that kind of strength had I been in their shoes. But the time constraints and the lack of enough help meant they had to rush a lot of the packing, so several items were broken, a couple bottles of vegetable oil that weren't closed spilled all over everything else in those boxes, and many of the boxes were completely disorganized which makes it impossible to be able to find what I need until I pull everything out of all the boxes--which will take several days. I fault management. I itemized my inventory on Unpakt (and presumably they had access to that information) and requested an additional 30 packed boxes and an extra drop off to storage. And they only sent 3. Even after I called to register my concern."

"Everyone I dealt with at Beltway was very professional and easy to work with. The movers themselves were very polite and personable. There seemed to be some issues with communication in planning my move and what services were included in my quote - I thought I was getting an unpacking service as well but this was not factored into the movers' schedule - but overall I was very pleased and would use Beltway again."
