"The movers where 3.5 hours late. The scheduled time was 1PM and the movers showed up at 4.30PM. I got a call from them around 2.30PM saying they will be they latest by 3.30 which didnt happen either. Reaching someone at the mover office was hard, most of my calls went to voicemail. I had already moved 90% of my items to the front door from my 2nd floor apt. while waiting for the movers. As soon as the movers arrived around 4.30PM, i had to rush to my new building to pick up keys (because they close at 5). I reached there around 5.15 and they were kind enough to stay open for an extra 15 minutes just to hand over the keys. While I was away, the movers locked themselves out of the old apt and had to have management from the old apt open the apt door for them. They started asking me for extra wait time for the lockout period (why?- not my fault you had a scheduling problem) Also, I paid for COI for my pickup apt. No COI was purchased and yet I was charged for it. The management at my pickup apartment was not happy also because they close at 5 and the move lasted well beyond 5PM."
